After a 1-2 week, Rare Atom crushed ThunderTalk Gaming (2-0) on Wednesday, which improved their LPL 2023 Summer record to 4-6. They still have a lot of work to do, but Rare Atom have been showing some signs of life of late with a good performance against EDward Gaming (1-2), Invictus Gaming (2-0), and Ultra Prime (1-2).
Their next opponents, Anyone’s Legend, have put together a few upset wins and have looked like dangerous underdogs. But they have some of the worst performance stats in the LPL, which proves that most of their victories were flukes.

Weibo Gaming suffered a shock loss against FunPlus Phoenix (1-2) on Tuesday, and yet they’re still priced as heavy favourites against Ninjas in Pyjamas, who are objectively stronger than FPX. That sounds fair, but the number here is too big.
Ninjas in Pyjamas are 5-5, which is a solid record, but we’re mostly interested in their performance metrics, which show that NiP are much better than what their results suggest, and yet, the market is very bearish on NiP. On the one hand, that’s understandable since they’ve not shown anything remarkable yet, but NiP are due to start winning more.
Weibo Gaming are better than Ninjas in Pyjamas, but WBG are also not in the best form and tend to play down to their opponent’s level. So as much as we can talk about Weibo Gaming’s quality, they shouldn’t be priced as $1.16 favourites against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
