Top Esports lost the big match against JD Gaming (0-2) last week, but compared to other big dogs in the LPL, they have been more consistent against the field, sporting an impressive 6-1 run ahead of this bout. TES have some weaknesses, namely their draft, and there’s a question of whether Yu “Qingtian” Zi-Han can play anything besides tanks.
Royal Never Give Up have had some good games this season and have established themselves as a great mid-table team. Unfortunately, they don’t have the talent to compete against the top teams, as they’ve shown against LNG Esports (0-2), Edward Gaming (0-2), and JD Gaming (0-2).

Edward Gaming is one of the best macro teams in China, which helped them rise up the rankings and produce an impressive 7-2 record this split. Their only two defeats came against Invictus Gaming (0-2) in Week 3 and, more recently, against Top Esports (1-2); however, they beat JD Gaming (2-0) a few days prior.
Had EDG kept Park “Viper” Do-hyeon, we could talk about EDG being a top-three team in the world, but with Hu “Leave” Hong-Chao as their ADC, there are some questions about EDG’s ceiling. Still, Leave has been playing exceptionally well for a rookie despite making rookie mistakes.
LNG Esports are up there with the best LPL teams and currently lead the league with an 8-1 record, but they’re the only team inside the top four that has shown cracks against mid-table squads. Losing maps against OMG (2-1), Bilibili Gaming (1-2), and the whole series against Ninjas in Pyjamas (1-2) isn’t a good look, and it makes us reluctant to rank LNG highly.
LNG Esports are a solid team, but at the offered odds offered by esports betting sites, we have to take Edward Gaming to come out on top.
