Rare Atom are not in a good spot, and looking at their schedule; things won’t improve anytime soon. With a 2-9 record, Rare Atom are all but guaranteed to miss the playoffs, and there is very little to suggest they can prove us wrong.
Rare Atom actually played a solid series against JD Gaming (1-2) at the start of Week 6, but have since lost to Bilibili Gaming (1-2), Top Esports (1-2), and Royal Never Give Up (0-2). Admittedly, they had to face tough opponents, but we’re mostly interested in the fact that Rare Atom hold the worst blue side win% (5-7) in the league.
Without a strong record on blue side in the current meta, Rare Atom can’t expect to upset any of the top dogs, and they definitely shouldn’t feel too confident facing EDward Gaming, who need this win to secure a spot in the playoffs.

Win or lose, JD Gaming and Royal Never Give Up have already clinched a playoff berth with 12-1 and 9-2 records, respectively. But that doesn’t change the fact that RNG and JDG will still want to finish the season inside the top two and secure a more favourable seeding, so we don’t expect anything too crazy from them on Saturday.
Assuming both teams will play at the top of their game, it’s tough to call out a winner looking purely at talent, and the offered LoL betting odds confirm that. But while the talent is there, it is hard to ignore how sloppy Royal Never Give Up have been lately.
They are winning games and are usually very efficient at it, but there have been a couple of series where RNG did not look too clean. A small mistake here, a player gets caught there, and it adds up – fortunately, no opponent managed to take full advantage of that.
JD Gaming are not perfect, but they’re close to it, and the sheer talent on this roster makes JDG a terrifying team to face. They demolished Victory Five on Tuesday, which is a good sign that JD Gaming might be too hot for RNG.
