Top Esports don’t need to win this match, but they can get up to 11 wins, which would slot them into Round 3 of the LPL 2022 Spring playoffs. LGD Gaming, on the other side, have nothing to fight for as they’re already locked out of a top-10 finish and can’t improve their final placement even with a 2-0 sweep.
And not only do TES have a lot more on the line in this match, but they’re also substantially better than LGD Gaming across all five positions. Admittedly, TES can still be a bit inconsistent, and they have already lost against weaker teams this season, but that’s hardly a good reason to bet against them.

Invictus Gaming enter this match following a devastating defeat against FunPlus Phoenix (0-2), who eliminated them from the playoffs race and ended IG’s miracle run. However, as unfortunate as their ending to the season was, it’s not like Invictus Gaming were a real threat to claim the LPL crown.
They had their moments and looked good in some of their games, but IG are not up to par with LPL’s top teams – in contrast, Weibo Gaming are. They’re 10-4 with two more games left to be played, meaning they can still finish the season inside the top-two, so motivation won’t be a problem.
Priced at $1.22, Weibo Gaming are expected to claim an easy win on Friday, and we have no reason to doubt that. Invictus Gaming can be very resilient and might pick up a map, but we’re leaning more towards a 2-0 sweep for Weibo Gaming.
