Kicking off a big three days for OMG, this is their first of three games in as many days and first against FunPlus Phoenix. OMG have had their last three series postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the team forcing them to home quarantine for the last 14 days. For FunPlus Phoenix their last two weeks have produced some of their best results for the entire split, managing three wins and one loss over their four games.
It is hard to get a rock solid opinion on OMG as they haven’t played a competitive match in two weeks in the LPL. OMG are the epitome of a 50-50 team with their record currently sitting at 6-7. FunPlus Phoenix have also recorded a win against a top team beating Royal Never Give Up, who sit in second place, 2-1 in their very first game of the split.
Nevertheless, with so many similarities between these two teams, we think that the main difference is the competitiveness that OMG has shown against top teams is what will separate them from FunPlus Phoenix in this match-up.
