VIEW our expert’s Longshot Football Acca Tips & Predictions for Saturday.
Our Acca Tips are mostly on the win-daw-win markets and largely based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Leicester City (Sun 2.00pm)
Wolves win over Arsenal was their first in nine but I’m not convinced they’ve turned the corner. David Luiz’s red card turned the game in Wolves favour and a further red for the Gunners’ keeper cemented the three points for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. It was Wolves’ first league win in nine but Leicester present an altogether tougher challenge – assuming they can keep eleven men on the park!
The Foxes have the second best away record in the Premier League and could welcome Jamie Vardy back for the trip to Molineux. They’re are a much stronger proposition when Vardy is in the side and look backable here at 11/10 especially if the striker starts.
Perugia (Italy Serie C Group B – 4.30pm)
The form team Perugia host visitors Mantova in Serie C Group B where four teams are separated by just one point at the top of that table. Perugia have tasted defeat just once in their last 17 matches, although today’s visitors are one of only three teams to get the better of them this season – a 5-1 win for Mantova in October.
Perugia also boast the best home record in the division with seven wins and three draws from their 11 matches at the Stadio Renato Curi and all things going to form look backable at 19/20 today.
Man City (Sun 4.30pm)
Plenty has been written about Liverpool’s demise this season as injury’s have plagued Jurgen Klopp’s squad. But they’ve been too passive games, barely troubling opposition goalkeepers at times. Sunday will be a real test of Klopp’s managerial skills as he seeks reshuffle the pack and get a performance out of his side.
But Man City have been in relentless form of late and are on a 13-game winning streak. Pep Guardiola knows that a win here will all but kill off Liverpool’s titel defence and send a further message out to the rest of the league. In the form they’re in City just have to be backed at even-money.
Rayo Vallecano (5.15pm)
Vallecano gave a good account of themselves last midweek against star-studded Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey, eventually going down 2-1 to a late Frankie De Jong winner. They followed that up with a fine win at promotion chasing Espanyol and can win again today against a Tenerife side who have struggled away from the Canaries this season.
Vallecano have won six of their last eight and lost just twice at Estadio de Vallecas – the only victors being first and second placed Mallorca and Almeria. They should be shorter than 21/20 so look a value bet.
Ferencvaros (5.30pm)
In Hungary, Ferencvaros can exert their superiority over nearest rivals MOL Fehervar and extend their lead at the top of NB I.
The Green Eagles have already established a seemingly unassailable 13-point lead at the top of the table and although they’ve suffered a few blips in recent weeks (two draws and a their first defeat of the season in their last five matches) they usually have a habit of turning up when it matters.
Visitors MOL are winless in their last three and this would appear to be their last chance to catch the current champions. Again, 1/1 looks a good price for the home win.
