3.05 – MansionBet Bet 10 Get 20 Fillies’ Handicap (1m4f)
She failed to get on the scoresheet in three runs for John & Thady Gosden but, after a 163-day absence, KINDERFRAU made a pleasing start for new connections in finishing third over this trip at Kempton recently. She was doing her best stuff late in the race and should be all the sharper for it. Racing from just 1lb higher, she has Cieren Fallon on board this time and should get herself on the scoresheet before long.
Selection: Kinderfrau @ 7/4
3.40 – MansionBet Beaten By A Head Ebf Conditions Stakes (1m4f)
Third in the Chester Vase on his lone attempt at this sort of trip, FANCY MAN has twice settled for second prize in Group 3 events at Haydock and Windsor over shorter during August. The Richard Hannon-trained Pride Of Dubai colt finds himself a very winnable race here, assuming he handles the Polytrack, and should make no mistake.
Selection: Fancy Man @ 2/7
4.10 – MansionBet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap (1m5f)
Knight Of Kings and top-weight Jerriais could both find improvement stepped up in trip but the balance of probability rests with hat-trick seeking WADACRE GOGO. Mark Johnston’s filly has bagged wins at Chelmsford and Wolverhampton in three runs since arriving from Ireland earlier in the summer and her latest 5lb rise in the weights may not prevent more success as she, too, looks the sort to relish the extra emphasis on stamina.
Selection: Wadacre Gogo @ 2/1
4.45 – MansionBet Watch And Bet EBF Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes (1m)
Yorkindness has run well in better races at Newmarket and Kempton already for Mark Johnston and finds herself a good opportunity dropped in grade now. She is the standard-setter but TRANS MONTANA improved on second start when runner-up behind another Johnston inmate, Turn Back Time, 17 days ago. She responded well to the pressure in the home straight and could well build on that now if she get can get a good position from a wider draw than ideal (likely favourite drawn outside her).
Selection: Trans Montana @ 5/1
5.20 – Download The MansionBet App Handicap (1m)
Maysong and Byzantia have the form to be going close in this line-up but being drawn in the two widest stalls hardly aids their cause. The Jane Chapple-Hyam-trained filly CLEGANE by contrast has a nice berth in four and has run well in three starts so far for this trainer, including a win over 7f here last month. She was third again over that trip here 10 days ago and, just 1lb higher, has valid claims returning to a mile given those key rivals have potential traffic woes to consider.
Selection: Clegane @ 9/2
5.50 – Free Replays On Attheraces.com Handicap (7f)
Glasvegas is a former C&D winner and is 2-2 previously at this venue. He has been in good tune on turf recently and needs serious considering eased in grade back here. Vitalline was an easy winner at Kempton last time and is 9lb higher as a result. LION RING meanwhile is a seven-race maiden but he finished second over 6f at Wolverhampton 12 days ago despite not getting the clearest run when it was needed. From an unchanged mark going up in trip, he’s one that looks likely to earn his stripes soon.
Selection: Lion Ring @ 8/1
6.25 – Peter Crane Memorial Fillies’ Handicap (6f)
Shining Success returned to form at Kempton last month and despite now being 6lb higher could well build on that for David Simcock. Handicap debutante La Sensazione meanwhile is a potential improver for James Tate but TOMOUH could dominate this. Saeed bin Suroor’s Dubawi filly did just that in her June C&D win – her only 6f start in six outings – and she didn’t quite get some since in a better race at Chelmsford over 7f. There’s more progress to come from her.
Selection: Tomouh @ 2/1
