SK Gaming enter this match off a perfect 2-0 week in which they beat Misfits Gaming and Schalke 04, although it was not like they showcased any exceptional quality in those games. That said, SK are still playing better than initially expected, so they deserve some praise for that.
You just can’t help but respect MAD Lions due to their high ceiling, but they are also a team that can lose any match. While Marek “Humanoid” Brázda deserves some criticism for his showings, much of the side’s struggles stem from Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság’s inconsistent performances in the ADC role.
Regardless of their slip-ups, MAD Lions have looked better of late and should win this match with relative ease – as long as their bottom lane holds up. In their wins, MAD average 20 kills and give up only 9.57 deaths, which is good enough for us to trust them to cover the kill handicap.

Last time these two sides met, Excel Esports stole the game with a 37th-minute Baron. The latest LoL betting odds indicate the British organisation should win the rematch as well, but we find it hard to be overly optimistic about a team that has lost three games in a row.
Misfits Gaming are not looking too sharp either with three defeats in their last four outings. Although they are slowly finding their stride, they’re seemingly still unable to put their strengths to use and usually fall apart in the mid-late game.
Misfits’ poor macro play should work in favour of Excel, who prioritise late-game scaling. As long as the Brits can handle Misfits’ aggression, they should justify the shorter odds. Unless Misfits find a way to close out this game early, this fixture will surely last for well over 30 minutes.

We might sound like a broken record, but Team Vitality are playing much better than what their league record suggests, which they proved with their win against Fnatic last week. Although that game was more a case of Fnatic falling apart rather than Vitality proving they were the better team, there was a notable improvement in the Bees’ shotcalling – likely thanks to their newest arrival, Juš “Crownshot” Marušič.
Even though we don’t believe Vitality can defeat G2 Esports, the reigning LEC champions are known to underperform when faced with weaker sides, so there is a case to be made for taking Vitality at the kill line.
