Fredit BRION are on a three-game losing streak, with defeats against KT Rolster (1-2), Liiv SANDBOX (1-2), and Kwangdong Freecs, who beat them 2-1 on Saturday. With those results, Fredit BRION are 3-7 on the season, which sits them tied with Hanwha Life Esports, Nongshim RedForce, and Liiv SANDBOX in last place.
Even though Fredit BRION played solid League in some of their recent games, that doesn’t take away from the fact that they have won only three series. What’s more, Fredit BRION already lost against DRX at the end of January (0-2), and it doesn’t seem like they will be able to turn things around on Thursday.
DRX have been playing surprisingly well this season and looked strong against other mid-table teams. They won against DWG KIA (2-1) last week and had previously beaten Hanwha Life Esports (2-1), KT Rolster (2-1), RedForce (2-0), and Kwangdong Freecs (2-0).
DRX can be unpredictable at times and are notorious for dropping maps, but at $2.37, they’re a solid bet to cover the map handicap.

LIIV SANDBOX vs HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

LoL Odds: | SANDBOX $2.00 at Betway | HLE $1.75 at Betway |

Hanwha Life Esports announced on Tuesday, February 22, that ADC Lee “SamD” Jae-hoon, jungler Kim “Willer” Jeong-hyeon, coach Son “Kezman” Dae-young, and assistant coach Kim “Bibra” Hyun-sik tested positive for COVID. Although Willer is not a starter, HLE will miss SamD and two coaches, which isn’t optimal.
On a more positive note, Hanwha Life Esports will face Liiv SANDBOX, one of the worst-performing teams of the season. Still, it’s not like Hanwha Life Esports are doing much better, considering they hold the same 3-7 series record and only marginally better map difference (10-15 v 7-16).
Hanwha Life Esports won against DRX on Saturday, which is inspiring, but it was primarily thanks to SamD, who ended the series with a combined score of 12/1/14. Without him, Hanwha Life Esports won’t be as dangerous, and while they still have talented players in other roles, it’s hard to trust a team without their star player.
Liiv SANDBOX to win
