AC Milan’s unbeaten Serie A record looks set to be seriously tested on Wednesday when they play host to an improving Lazio.
Lazio Hoping to Halt Milan
Wednesday’s clash at the San Siro will be the final outing of 2020 for AC Milan and Lazio, with Serie A set to start its winter break until January 3.

Hellish Home Form for Verona
Hellas Verona face the unenviable task of hosting second-placed Inter Milan at 17:30.
They are without a win in two outings, drawing at Fiorentina on Saturday after tasting defeat at home to Sampdoria.
Home form has been a major issue for Ivan Juric’s men over recent weeks, failing to win any of their last three at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.
Inter are yet to lose on the road this season and Antonio Conte has made them an extremely tough outfit to break down.
Recent editions of this fixture have contained plenty of goals, with both sides scoring in the last three, however that trend doesn’t look set to continue.
Inter have conceded just five goals in six away engagements this term, fewer than the 11 they have shipped when looking to be more expansive on home soil.
Meanwhile, Verona are the lowest scorers of any side placed in the top 10 and backing an Inter victory to zero at 6/4 looks the way to go.
Sassuolo Eyeing Further Road Success
Sassuolo finished eighth last term, just one spot short of qualifying for the Europa League, although they were 11 points shy of seventh-placed Napoli.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi has overseen an improvement in each of his two seasons at the helm, finishing 11th in his debut term before last campaign’s eighth spot.
He is hoping to lead the club to a first top-seven finish since 2015-16 this time around and the early signs look good.
They head to Sampdoria on Wednesday sitting sixth, two points clear of Atalanta and thanks in a major part to their form on the road.
The Neroverdi have the third-best form of any Serie A side on their travels in 2020-2, proudly boasting an unbeaten record.
De Zerbi’s men have earned the majority of their points (14) when playing away from their Mapei Stadium base, winning four of their six encounters and they offer plenty of value at 33/20 to earn another win at Sampdoria.
