The penultimate round of Korean Open 2020 – Winter: Regular Season will begin with a clash between SGA eSPORTS and OhHamMa (ex-SCARZ). These two rosters have never met before, so it’s very difficult to understand the massive price gap, especially considering OhHamMa are in better shape.
OhHamMa enter this match with a 4-1 record and 36-23 map differential, which is considerably better than SGA who are 2-3 with a 23-25 map differential. Even though we should give SGA some praise for their occasional flashes of greatness, they only seem to do well against weaker sides, and have on top of that lost their coach Arms_Tina just a few days ago.
Siding with the outsiders makes more sense to us even though they might have overperformed a bit in the games leading up to this one.
OhHamMa to win
TALON ESPORTS vs GC BUSAN SPEAR R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS
|
|
---|---|
Event: | Korean Open Winter – Regular Season |
Rainbow Six Odds: | Talon $2.59 at Betway | Busan $1.45 at Betway |
When: | January 06, 2021 at 21:00 KST |

There is no hiding the fact that GC Busan Spear are in much better shape and while Talon Esports are a solid team, they have yet to show anything spectacular this competition. Busan enter this match without a single defeat, whereas Talon’s only loss came against Cloud9 (5-7), which is not too bad, but not good enough.
Normally we would side with Talon to upset Busan, but after seeing them struggle against OhHamMa (8-7) on Saturday, we have to place our money on the favourites to keep their unbeaten run alive.
GC Busan SPear to win
FRIENDLYFIRE CLAN vs LUNATIC-HAI BETTING & MATCH DETAILS
|
|
---|---|
Event: | Korean Open Winter – Regular Season |
Rainbow Six Odds: | FriendlyFire $1.97 at Betway | Lunatic $1.77 at Betway |
When: | January 06, 2021 at 22:00 KST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rainbow6kr) |
This match seems like it can easily go both ways, not necessarily because FriendlyFire Clan and Lunatic-hai are equally strong, but because they’re both equally bad. FriendlyFire have yet to win a single match this tournament, whereas Lunatic-hai’s sole victory came against the shaky Faust (7-4) on Saturday.
The latest R6S betting odds suggest FriendlyFire have just over 50% chance to win, which might be true considering they did not look too bad in some of their games. However, we can’t ignore their 3-7 loss against Faust on Saturday, which does not convince us the outsiders are worth a bet.
Lunatic-hai
