CHELSEA aren’t playing like world champions right now but McBookie still make them red-hot 3/10 favourites for a win against Lille in the Champions League tonight.
The Blues followed up their unconvincing World Club Cup triumph by grinding out a 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Their display was summed up by the fact striker Romelu Lukaku touched the ball just seven times and Chelsea’s last four victories have all come by a one-goal winning margin.
But Lille are in dismal form, winning just one of their last four in a run that includes a 5-1 thrashing by PSG.
They’ve scored just twice in four games so a Chelsea win to nil looks the shout tonight at 11/10 (Coral).
The other Champions League game sees Juventus head to Villarreal and it’s a hard one to call.
I’m backing Juve to win most corners (17/10, BetVictor) as they have 15 from their last two games while the Yellow Submarine have claimed just five.
There’s lower-league action in the SPFL – so long as games beat the weather.
Partick will be praying Firhill is playable as they bid to clear a backlong, starting with the visit of Morton.
Goals could be scarce on such a poor surface so I like BTTS no (19/20, BetVictor) while under 2.5 goals is 10/11 (BoyleSports).
Falkirk were poor at Cove on Saturday but should get back on track at home to Peterhead. Backing them to lead at half-time and full-time pays 19/10 at BetVictor.
League Two leaders Kelty host rock-bottom Cowdenbeath and I fancy them to win both halves (13/8, McBookie).
Super singles

- Combining a Kelty win with over 0.5 first-half goals and over 2.5 match goals pays 108/100
