KevMac casts his eye over tonight’s Europa League ties featuring the British clubs left in the competition.
Rangers vs Antwerp
RANGERS have one foot in the Europa League last 16 after their thrilling win in Antwerp and are odds-on favourites to finish the job at Ibrox tonight.
I thought the first leg would be tight but instead, it was a crazy thriller which Gers eventually edged 4-3.
They are 40/85 for another win tonight (McBookie) but that’s poor value so I’m backing goals, given Antwerp need to score at least twice to stay alive.
Over 3.5 strikes pays 13/10 at McBookie while Alfredo Morelos is evens at BetVictor for another Euro goal.
The Belgians have maverick Didier Lamkel Ze back from suspension and the hothead looks decent value for a card at 9/5 with William Hill.
Best of the Rest
I’m steering clear of Manchester United v Sociedad as it is effectively a dead rubber after the English giants romped to a 4-0 win on the road.
But Arsenal and Leicester drew their first legs against Benfica and Slavia Prague respectively so there’s plenty to play for in those games.
A one-goal winning margin appeals for either side in the Gunners v Eagles clash at 13/10 with McBookie.
Leicester should be too strong for Slavia so I’m doubling a Foxes win with over 2.5 goals (7/5, McBookie).
Elsewhere, I’m going for a double on Napoli to beat Granada and Hoffenheim to see off Molde, which pays 116/100 with SBK.
Super Singles
- Morelos to score (Evens, BetVictor)
- Leicester and over 2.5 goals (7/5, McBookie)
McBookie Star Bet
- Antwerp are 20/21 to have the most bookings in a game where Rangers should be on the front foot.
