The FA Cup has to share the limelight with the Premier League on Saturday so KevMac takes a look at the best betting options in England this weekend.
FA Cup Final – Chelsea v Leicester City
IT’S FA Cup Final day down south and most neutrals will be hoping Leicester can lift the famous old trophy for the first time.
Brendan Rodgers has worked wonders with the Foxes since quitting Celtic to return to England and now stands on the brink of lifting some silverware.
But the task couldn’t be tougher as they face potential Euro champions Chelsea at Wembley.
Thomas Tuchel has turned the Blues into a mean machine since replacing Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.
They have seen off Atletico and Real Madrid in their march to the Champions League Final and twice defeated Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in domestic action.
The first of those wins over City came in the FA Cup semis and Chelsea are McBookie’s 4/9 favourites to lift the trophy.
The odds increase to 17/20 for a win inside 90 minutes and it’s hard to look past Tuchel’s side.
They lost to Arsenal in midweek but that was only because of a dreadful blunder by Jorginho while Tuchel also rested several key players.
He will field his strongest side at Wembley and I fancy a Chelsea clean sheet at 11/8 with Bet365.
Finals can often take a bit of time to warm up so backing the second half to have most goals also appeals (23/20, McBookie).
The card markets always offer decent value and I like the look of the 4/1 on offer at Bet365 for Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi to fall foul of the referee.
West Brom v Liverpool
Both sides still haven’t secured a top-four finish in the Premier League and Liverpool will be out to turn up the heat tomorrow.
Jurgen Klopp’s men claimed a massive 4-2 win at Manchester United on Thursday night and now face relegated West Brom.
Another victory would leave the Reds just a point behind Chelsea and three adrift of the Foxes with two games to play.
With the Blues and Foxes facing off again in the league this midweek, something has to give.
So a win at the Hawthorns would make Liverpool favourites to finish in the top four and they are just 2/9 to pile on the pressure.
Klopp’s side look more like themselves going forward so I fancy over 2.5 Liverpool goals at a best 17/20 with Unibet.
Roberto Firmino netted twice at Old Trafford and is 13/8 at McBookie to add another today.
Brighton v West Ham United
West Ham are still in the mix for a top-four finish but face a tricky game at Brighton tonight.
It’s now three defeats in four for the Hammers and the Seagulls can play without pressure after avoiding relegation.
David Moyes’ men need to go all out for the win so I fancy both teams to score at a best 11/12 with SBK.
Over 2.5 goals is slightly better value at 21/20 with BetVictor.
Super Singles
- FA Cup Final: Most goals scored in the second half (23/20, McBookie)
- Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi to be carded (4/1, Bet365)
- Over 2.5 Liverpool goals against West Brom (17/20, Unibet)
