RUMOURS
Paul Pogba – Juventus
Juventus will attempt to re-sign former midfielder Paul Pogba this month according to rumours surfacing in Italy. The 26-year old has been on the sidelines for the majority of the current campaign as talk of a move away from Old Trafford start to intensify.
Pogba left Juventus to join United for a then world record fee in 2016, though the Frenchman has fully failed to convince since returning to the club he spent several years at as a youth team player (Calciomercato).
Boubakary Soumare – Manchester United/Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester United and Tottenham are ready to go head-to-head for highly rated French midfielder Boubakary Soumare according to reports. The 20-year old Lille star is one of the most sought after players on the continent however, and the Premier League giants could face stern competition for his signature (Daily Mail).

Sadio Mane – Real Madrid
Real Madrid have made initial contact with the representatives of Liverpool’s Senegal striker Sadio Mane to sound out the players interest in moving to Spain, according to Le10Sport. The 27-year old Senegalese international has established himself as one of football’s most devastating attacking players in recent seasons and Los Blancos are believed to value his skillset extremely highly.
Timo Werner – Manchester United
Having failed to land Norwegian starlet Erling Haaland, the Express say Man Utd have now turned their attention to RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner in an attempt to bolster their attacking options. The 23-year old has been in blistering form in the Bundesliga this season, and the Express hint that a January agreement that would see the German international stay in his homeland until the summer could be in the offing.
Adrien Rabiot – Arsenal
New Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is rumoured to have made French midfielder Adrien Rabiot his primary target in January. The 24-year old French midfielder has been able to make much of an impact since swapping PSG for Juventus in the summer, and Rabiot could be available for a knockdown price this month (Daily Star).
Christian Eriksen – Inter
Inter Milan are the latest club to express an interest in signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham, joining a lengthening list of suitors for the Danish international. Eriksen’s contract expires in the summer, leaving him open to discuss contracts with potential new employers. A January move with a modest fee is also still possible for the schemer (Daily Express).
Ricardo Pereira – Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham are lining up a bid for Leicester’s City’s Portuguese full-back Ricardo Pereira according to the Daily Mail. The 26-year old has been one of the Foxes’ most impressive individual performers this season, though it would take a mammoth offer well north of £50m to temp City into doing business.
