Kim “Classic” Doh-woo and Park “Armani” Jin-hyuk will clash for the first time since October 2021, when Classic won 2-1 to go 4-0 up in the all-time head-to-head. Since the Korean SCII pro players first met in 2017, Armani has never come close to beating his compatriot, while the three-map series in October marked the first time he won a map against the 2014 GSL champion.
The StarCraft II betting odds on this match suggest this should follow that trend and end in Classic’s fifth head-to-head victory, and we must agree. Even though Armani performed well last time out, it’s hard to trust him to upset Classic.
Still, Armani has had some solid games earlier this month, forcing Kim “Cure” Doh-wook and Byun “ByuN” Hyun-woo to three maps. If he can recreate that, the 25-year-old should be able to keep this one close.

Kang “Solar” Min-soo is priced as a $1.34 favourite to make it past Jang “Creator” Hyun-woo on Tuesday, which seems a bit low considering Creator won this matchup just a month ago (2-0). Admittedly, it was only his fourth head-to-head victory from 11 clashes with Solar in 2021, and his first after three successive losses, so you could argue that Creator is a bit underrated by the esports bookmakers.
Creator won against Solar in their last clash and is 37-12 against Zergs (75.51% win rate). Still, Solar is in excellent form, with only four losses across his last 36 outings (31-1-4), including 2-0 sweeps of Park “Dark” Ryung-woo and Clément “Clem” Desplanches last Thursday.
Creator showed some promise last time out, and he can compete against Korea’s top SCII talent. But with the form Solar has been showing of late, it’s tough to side against him.
