PUTTING all of your betting eggs in one basket isn’t always the best way to go but that’s the direction I’m taking this evening as I head to the Paraguyan capital city Asuncion for a potential derby cracker…
NACIONAL VS. OLIMPIA (11.00pm KO)
It’s the away team whom I’m siding with and although the temptation to go with both teams scoring and total goals bets is strong, I feel the real value may lie with Olimpia team goals.
They certainly have been the better side of late and absolutely own the most recent bragging rights having not lost once in a staggering 19 consecutive H2H’s comprising 13 wins and 6 draws…some record that!
Goals-wise, Olympia have scored 0-4-2-2-4-0-2-2-1-1-0-4-2-4-3-2-3 team goals in the last 17 H2H’s since 2015 with 71% seeing 1.5+team goals, 35% seeing 3+ team goals and 24% seeing Olimpia net 4+ team goals!
Whilst it is early days in the Paraguayan Clausara and neither side will want to give away too much ground, I reckon Olimpia’s athletes will prove to be much for a Nacional side who have a serious hoodoo hanging over their heads.
