IT was good to see some great stuff in Peru with Binacional running out 5-0 winners but, for me, there’s trouble brewing closer to home…
BURY VS. COLCHESTER:
I’ve not the time to get fully into the politics now but there’s a cloud hanging over Gigg that is much more complex than the usual cold cover that blows down off the Pennines.
This isn’t just a blot on the landscape – it’s a big f*ck off pill that is not uncommon but is so unfortunately timed, it hurts.
For the first time in a long, long time, The Shakers have not only been doing great – we’ve actually looked great and have blown pretty .much everyone out of the water.
But, football is a fickle game and when you live in the shadow of another 9 teams in a 30 mile radius that sit between the EPL and League Two,then your fan base, and thus funds will always suffer.
So, once again, it looks looks like money in Bury ( or the lack off) will potentially ruin us – it’s not my platform to talk about what’s going on but sure as hell, it will affect us tomorrow as it has done in the previous two games as more information leaks out.
One selection to consider but, though it pains me, I can see the Essex boys seizing the moment:
- Colchester over 1.5 match goals
(12/5, bet365) 2 Points
Best of luck!
