There are three La Liga fixtures on Saturday and we may well see home wins across the board in the Spanish top flight.
The 15.00 kick off sees Villarreal entertain Eibar at El Madrigal, with Getafe then up against Osasuna at 17.30.
The late game sees Celta Vigo welcome Valencia to their Estadio de Balaidos home for a 20.00 kick off.
Villarreal can Kick-Start Campaign
Villarreal were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Huesca in their season- opener and the visit of Eibar represents a good chance to get their first three points on the board.
The Yellow Submarine dominated proceedings against Huesca but had to settle for a draw after falling 1-0 down in the first half.
Eibar are no pushovers and picked up a solid point at home to Celta in their opener. However, their away form was a concern last season with 10 defeats in 19 games and if that pattern continues into the new campaign they could be in trouble on Saturday.
Villarreal are the favourites in the Match Result market at 4/7.
The hosts do tend to struggle to put teams to the sword and at a bigger price the 11/5 on a home with by exactly one goal appeals.
Getafe too Strong for Osasuna
Getafe were the surprise package in La Liga last season and for a while they looked genuine contenders for Champions League qualification.
The Madrid-based club’s form tailed off in the latter stages of the season and they ended up finishing in eighth spot, but they can start the new season with a bang by downing Osasuna in their first La Liga game of the campaign.
The visitors were in action last weekend and managed all three points in a 2-0 win at promoted Cadiz. However, Getafe are a step up in class and Osasuna will struggle to get anything on Saturday.
Getafe are 1/1 to win and over 1.5 goals for the hosts stands out at 6/4.
Celta can Stun Los Che
Celta Vigo were held by Eibar at home last time out and will need to be at their best to take all three points against Valencia.
However, Los Che allowed key man Rodrigo Moreno to depart for Leeds United over the summer and look less of a threat without him in the side, and that could swing this tie in Celta’s favour.
Celta are 6/5 to win on Saturday and Iago Aspas looks a strong candidate to open the scoring at 4/1.
