There is another busy weekend of footballing action to come in La Liga as we edge towards the business end of the campaign in the Spanish top-flight.
The weekend will kick-off on Friday night when Levante entertain Huesca, before a further seven matches take place across Saturday and Sunday, with Barcelona’s home clash against Real Valladolid rounding things off on Monday.
Los Blancos Set For Easy Afternoon
Real Madrid will be the first of La Liga’s title challengers to return to the field of play this weekend and they should have no problem seeing off struggling Eibar at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Zinedine Zidane’s side can move to within three points of league leaders Atletico Madrid with a victory and they are in good form, as they are unbeaten in eight La Liga games, with six of those matches ending in victory.

Eibar can only dream of showcasing such consistency, as their seven-year stay in La Liga appears to be hanging by a thread following an 11-game winless run that leaves them heading into the weekend two points adrift of safety.
Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side have also taken just one point from their six previous away clashes with Real, failing to score in half those games, and it would be no surprise to see the hosts claim another victory to nil on Saturday, which is available at 10/11.
Betis Bounce Set to Continue
Real Betis have been one of the form teams in La Liga since the turn of the year, as they have only lost two of their 12 league matches during 2021, a run that has propelled them into the top-six of the standings ahead of their trip to Elche on Sunday.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have also won three of their last five top-flight games on the road, losing just once during that time, although that sole defeat was a painful one against fierce rivals Sevilla.
By contrast, Elche remain engulfed in a relegation battle, as a run of two wins in 23 has left Fran Escriba’s side placed perilously just above the relegation zone heading into the weekend.
Betis claimed a 3-1 victory when the two teams met at the Benito Villamarin earlier in the season and they are priced at 4/5 to do the double over Elche on Sunday.

Cadiz to Edge Closer to Safety
Cadiz will head into Sunday’s home clash with Valencia aiming to secure back-to-back home victories in La Liga for the first time this season, while a win would also further boost their survival chances.
Alvaro Cervera’s side endured a difficult February, but they appear to be returning to the kind of form that saw them impress over the opening months of the season, with their recent home victory over Eibar suggesting that confidence is returning.
Valencia have been a real Jekyll & Hyde side of late, as they have won four matches on the spin at the Mestalla, but they have lost each of their last three away fixtures without even scoring.
Only bottom of the table Huesca have won fewer La Liga games on the road this season than Valencia’s total of two and Los Che are also averaging less than a goal a game on their travels.
Cadiz certainly look a tempting option to win Sunday’s match at 43/20, but Los Piratas have also struggled for goals on home soil this season, netting just 12 in 14 games at the Estadio Ramon de Carranza, so backing under 2.5 goals in the match could also be an option at 5/8.
