West Ham have been largely competitive on their more recent visits to Old Trafford, which will give them hope as they face Manchester United in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
The Hammers have come on leaps and bounds in the Premier League this season, and they might be able to get at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side at the Theatre of Dreams.
Moyes Out to Prove a Point
It was well documented that manager David Moyes struggled at United after being handed the task of taking over from the great Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
Spells in Spain with Real Sociedad and back in England with Sunderland came and went but now Moyes is working wonders at the London Stadium with West Ham.
Just one point off the top four after 23 games, Moyes is hoping to take the Hammers into Europe for next season.
Tuesday night will be a good test for Moyes’ men, as they face a United side that has lacked consistency in recent weeks.
The Red Devils, who will be without midfielder Paul Pogba on Tuesday night due to a thigh injury, have won just one of their last four games in the Premier League, a run which includes a shock 2-1 defeat on home soil to bottom side Sheffield United.
West Ham have lost just twice in their last six meetings with Manchester United, winning two and drawing two of the other encounters.
The Hammers might be able to cause another upset in this FA Cup fifth round encounter, and are a 27/20 double chance at Old Trafford.
Cherries Can Down Clarets
Bournemouth have a real opportunity to cause a shock of their own when they make the trip to Burnley in the fifth round on Tuesday.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche has already confirmed he will have to make changes to his side, who are battling to make sure they don’t get sucked down into the Premier League relegation zone.
Midfielders Robbie Brady and Josh Brownhill, along with striker Chris Wood and defender Charlie Taylor have all been tipped to miss out on the encounter.
As for the Cherries, the Championship side will be without forward Dominic Solanke, but will be boosted by the return of winger Junior Stanislas.
Caretaker boss Jonathan Woodgate, who has replaced Jason Tindall at the Vitality Stadium has said “there will be no experimenting” with his starting line-up.
Former Middlesbrough boss Woodgate led Bournemouth to a 3-2 win over Birmingham City in his first game in interim charge, and will be looking for another victory to take to the Cherries’ board.
With injuries not helping the Clarets’ cause, and with Burnley having more pressing matters in the Premier League battle for survival, Bournemouth could secure a place in the next round.
The Cherries are 9/4 for the win, while the more conservative backers could look to the 5/8 in the double chance market.
