At Perry Barr, there are a couple of Open Races on their card, including the Arena Racing Company Dash. There are also two competitive graded cards from Hove and Monmore.
You can watch greyhound racing via live streaming when logged into MansionBet, with action coming from the UK and Ireland.
Our tipster has come up with some selections for tonight’s action on the track.
Staying Sharp Is Clocking Impressive Times
The first Open Race from Perry Barr this evening is scheduled for 6.41pm and it is the Arena Racing Company Dash over 275 metres.
STAYING SHARP (Trap 6) has been recording some impressive times over this trip, including a 16.22 in his victory in a D1 contest last time out.
This step-up in class to Open company should not trouble Pat Rosney’s dog. The quality of the runners is no different from what he would come up against at the highest graded level.
The local dog has been drawn in Trap Six which is advantageous, especially if Vaunt Lad from Trap Five breaks slowly again as he did in his previous start. Hopefully, the striped jacket runner can get you off to a good start tonight.
MansionBet selection: Staying Sharp – Trap 6 (6.41pm – Perry Barr)
Final Xafonic Can Complete Hat-Trick
FINAL XAFONIC (Trap Five) is attempting to complete a hat-trick on the track when he comes out of the boxes in the 7.07pm at Monmore.
He first prevailed in an A2 contest and then a week later, the upgrade to A1 proved no obstacle for him.
Six of this dog’s eight wins have come in A1 company, so he has proved himself at this level. He also has a good record out of Trap Five. In this particular race, the dogs either side of him are not always the quickest out of the traps.
Kim Billingham’s runner looks the best bet on the card at Monmore and he can continue his winning run on the track.
MansionBet selection: Final Xafonic – Trap Five (7.07pm – Monmore)
Freeky Nala Can Win Lucky Last at Hove
In the final race of the evening at Hove at 9.28pm, FREEKY NALA (Trap One) is bidding to score again on her return to A1.
She has been upgraded following her victory in an A2 here last month where she clocked 29.73.
With 10 wins from 35 career races, Belinda Green’s runner has a solid strike-rate. When she traps well, she can be very difficult to reel back in.
Connections will be hoping she leads them up on the inside at the first bend, something which could pave the way for another success.
Miss Ava (Trap Four) and Lightfoot Brogan (Trap Five) are both back in graded action after an appearance in Open races. They clearly must be respected, but may have to settle for the minor honours.
MansionBet selection: Freeky Nala – Trap One (9.28pm – Hove)
