Betting is available with MansionBet on all six heats in Sheffield and Fabulous Azurra is arguably the one to beat in the competition after being drawn in heat six at 8.27pm.
There is also action from Towcester and Crayford on this busy evening of greyhound racing. All races from the UK can be streamed with MansionBet if you have an active account.
Winning Start Likely for Fabulous Azurra
Champion Trainer Patrick Janssens will be hopeful that FABULOUS AZURRA can have a big competition in the BGBF Bred Derby. She has been drawn in Trap Four in her heat and that is a good draw for the middle seed.
Janssens’ bitch will appreciate this 500-metre distance at Sheffield. She has an excellent record in Ireland, and this does not look the strongest heat taking place this evening.
The daughter of Fabulous Artist is capable of showing strong early pace. If she can lead up Magna Harris (Trap Three) on her inside, she could turn the corner in the lead. It will then be difficult for her rivals to reel her in.
MansionBet selection: Fabulous Azurra – Trap 4 (8.27pm – Sheffield)
In-Form Abby to Outsprint Rivals in D1 Contest
With three victories from her last four outings in this top sprinting grade at Towcester, GURTNACREHY ABBY is at the top of her game and stands out in the 8.38pm. She was a little unfortunate when she was beaten three starts back, as she was forced to check in the race.
This March ’20 bitch should continue to improve, so we may not have seen the best of her yet. She has been trapping very strongly from the boxes, something which is obviously key in these 270 metre contests.
The danger will obviously come from Salacres Lee from Trap One. He has been running in Open action recently. The last time he was in this grade, he had to settle for second place behind Gurtnacrehy Abby. That may prove to be case again here.
MansionBet selection: Gurtnacrehy Abby – Trap Two (8.38pm – Towcester)
Oscars Rose the One to Beat at Crayford
In the penultimate race on the card at Crayford at 9.02pm, OSCARS ROSE is looking to continue her excellent form, and she has been given a big chance to do so by the grader.
Jim Reynolds’ runner finished second in an A2 event at the back end of last month. She was only half a length behind the winner. The last time she was in this grade of A3, she prevailed with a time of 23.69.
Oscars Rose has a good strike-rate from Trap Four. Her recent sectionals indicate she will lead her rivals up to the opening bend. That early advantage could be enough for her to break away and record her third win in four outings at this track.
MansionBet selection: Oscars Rose – Trap Four (9.02pm – Crayford)
