There is plenty of competitive Graded action across a number of tracks on Wednesday evening with Sunderland, Doncaster and Yarmouth hosting 12-race cards.
You can watch the action from Sunderland and Yarmouth live on Racing Post Greyhound TV, a channel which is accessible on Sky (channel 175), Freesat (channel 176) and Freeview (channel 264).
Similarly, you can watch Doncaster along with Sunderland and Yarmouth through live streaming the action. You can do this via a number of bookmaker apps which give you the opportunity to watch all of the action literally at your fingertips.
We’ve previewed the action with our best bets to hopefully provide some fillip to your midweek entertainment. Tonight’s action focused on graded racing, meaning all of the dogs running at the tracks are trained at Doncaster, Sunderland or Yarmouth and run at the track most weeks.
If successful in an A1 event, the highest graded race, you may take the step up in grade and compete in Open Racing, which is the highest quality of greyhound racing.
6:28: Doncaster: Millcroft Moon (Trap Four)
A dog who is ultra-consistent in and around this grade. He’s filled the placings on his last three starts and this trap could be the making of him this evening.
6:36: Sunderland: Sabrina Mojo (Trap Five)
Met all sorts of trouble here last week having started the 8/11 favourite. A reproduction of her previous effort when second will see her take all the beating.
6:51: Sunderland Tornaroy Bullet (Trap Four)
A consistent A1 performer who looked in need of the run when being caught late on last week. He should improve plenty for that and looks to be well drawn in trap four.
7:38: Doncaster: Ballymac Rita (Trap Two)
A smooth winner at Doncaster last week, she showed good early on that occasion and whilst the draw is the slight issue, she looks the best dog in this.
7:51: Yarmouth: Swift Nando (Trap One)
Has a strong back catalogue of form and shaped well when fourth on his latest start given he met trouble on two turns. He ran on in the closing stages in eye-catching fashion and can go in for punters here.
7:56: Sunderland: Ratheden (Trap Six)
Bounced back to form with a game victory at the track last week. A4 grade looks like his level and it’s interesting that connections have decided to stay in this grade again this week. The one to beat.
8:12: Sunderland: Westforth Hugo (Trap Six)
Ultra-consistent son of Superior Product who has finished first or second on his last three starts. He met bags of trouble last time out and would have finished much closer if missing that interference. With that in mind, he is a confident selection if avoiding trouble on the run to the first bend.
8:17: Doncaster: Pinkyponk (Trap One)
This could finally be Pinkyponk’s day in the sun. She’s been hitting the crossbar of late but she sets the clear standard on form and if she can finally break smart, she is the one they all have to beat.
9:16: Sunderland: Malacca Black (Trap One)
A bitch on the upgrade is always one to fear. This daughter of Kinloch Brae could not have been more impressive when bolting up earlier this month and with a trap to suit and given she shows early pace, she should prove tough to beat.
9:26: Yarmouth: Quiet Man (Trap Three)
A smooth winner in A2 company last month, the son of Pat C Sabbath met plenty of trouble in running when fourth on his latest start and is better than he showed on that occasion. He can regain his upward trajectory here.
