FIRSTLY a big thanks to the bookies yesterday for their generosity in making a complete hash of pricing up the Hibs v QoS reserve match.
They don’t often get it wrong but were horrendously off the mark as Hibs ran out 7-0 winners giving us punters a great start to the week.
No surprise to learn I’ll be focusing on tonight’s Scottish matches and a team who have been a punter’s dream in 2o19,
Falkirk have been in great form and are now eight without defeat since the turn of the year. They are probably the most profitable Scottish team of 2019 with big odds wins against Ayr twice and Alloa. The bookies have written them off tonight at leaders Ross County and are 7-1 – those odds give us a great chance in the goal markets again.
Ross County v Falkirk (7.45pm)
This is the fourth time in as many weeks I’m on the Bairns to produce the goods and it doesn’t get much tougher than a trip to league leaders Ross County who have been outstanding this season.
Falkirk have done their survival hopes the world of good with 4 wins and 4 draws in 2019 and the recruitment carried out in January is paying dividends.
They brushed aside Ayr on Friday night and will be full of confidence as they make the trip up the A9 to Dingwall to play a County side who will soon be crowned champions. Eight points ahead with a game is a manger’s dream but this won’t be an easy assignment for the hosts.
Falkirk have scored in their last eight away matches, County have conceded in 7 of their last 10 at home and interestingly Falkirk have scored in 15 of their last 17 matches against Ross County in Dingwall.
The bookies I feel have Falkirk priced way too high (7-1 in places which is ridiculous). It’s great for us though as it means we get cracking odds on Falkirk scoring. A team in great form and on their run should never be 4-5 to score – look at Stenhousemuir, Man Utd and wolves recently.
Recommended Bets
