IT was another winning Scottish NAP last night, making it 12 winning Scottish NAP’s from the last 15 so no surprise to see me focusing my attention here again today.
Had a good look through the card and have found what a think is a real gem as bottom club Stenhousmuir make the trip to likely title winners Arbroath. Its top v bottom which again provides excellent value in some markets.
Arbroath vs Stenhousemuir (KO 3pm)
A massive 36 points separate these two as Dick Campbell’s title chasing Arbroath host basement boys Stenhousemuir and will be looking t o increase their 14 point lead at the top.
The league is all but over and Arbroath will go up as deserved champions but it will be interesting to see how they react after last weeks 2-0 defeat away to inform Dumbarton.
Its been a tough season for Stenhousemuir but they are only 5 points from safety and are in good form with just one defeat in 5 and that was against high flying Forfar.
What stands out for me is Stenny have scored in 16 of their last 17 matches -(two of those where home and away against Aberdeen) and they will travel to Arbroath full of belief they can something from the game.
You are getting 10/1 for Stenny and interestingly I backed Stenny as my NAP to score here on their last trip back in December which landed inside 18 mins. They are more than capable of scoring here. No team in this league should ever be even money just to score.
That’s further supported by the fact Arbroath conceded in 10 of their last 12 games and the last 8 meetings between these two have all seen both sides score and over 2.5 goals.
Recommended Bet:
- Stenhouesmuir to score
- 1/1 (Bet365) (NAP)

Livingston vs St Johnstone (KO 3pm)
It’s make a break for the Perth men, a win today is an absolute must if they have any hopes of making the top 6 this season. Its also a must to rectify a horrible run of results which has seen them without a win in 8 matches
They are at full strength today and have already beaten Livi twice this season. Yes they are on poor run but I think the bookies at forgetting on that run they played Celtic three times, Rangers, Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen.
Absolutely no way they should be 12/5 against a team below them in the league and who they have better quality all over the pitch. Livi have only won once in their last 8 matches and I don’t see them getting three points here.
Double Chance a bit short at 4/6 so taking goal time of the first St Johnstone goal
Recommended Bet:
- St Johnstone goal before 74 mins
- 5/6 (Bet365)

English goals treble
- Leicester vs Fulham
- Bradford vs Peterborough
- Billericay v Torquay
Over 2.5 goals treble pays 7/2 (Ladbrokes)
