A match I had previewed on Saturday takes place tonight after falling victim to the snow as Berwick Rangers host league leaders Peterhead in the Scottish League Two.
The bookies aren’t giving the hosts much of a chance with them being as big as 14/1 to win and whilst Peterhead should win this, again, i dont believe Berwick should be as big as 5/4 just to score. Anyone can score against anyone in the lower Scottish leagues and previous ventures into this market have been fruitful.
Berwick Rangers vs Peterhead (KO 7.45pm)
League leaders Peterhead have a terrific opportunity to open up an 8 point lead which even Peterhead couldn’t blow having had promotion heartache for a number of seasons.
Blue Toon boss Jim McInally won’t want a repeat of last yeaR and will targeting nothing other than three points tonight against a Berwick side fighting for their lives to remian in the Scottish league.
Its a horrible fixture to have midweek for Peterhead as they have a 450 mile round trip to Berwick and with teams being part time, it can often be a challange for players to get away from work early to play.
Top goal scorer and goal machine Rory McAllister is missing for Peterhead which is a big plus for strugging Berwick. They don’t have a good record against Peterhead but they have scored in 8 of the last 11 meetings at home.
A long midweek trip to Berwick for Peterhead , gives hosts a chance here and im taking them to score at what. 5/4 is an incredibe price at this level just to score
Recommnended Bet:
Berwick Rangers to score
5/4 (William Hill) (NAP)
