QUITE a few matches have fallen victim to the weather today but the two matches I’m on have survived the frost as Rangers host St Mirren whilst big spending Dundee United welcome Greenock Morton. Expecting both home sides to collect 3 points without too much fuss.
Rangers v St Mirren (KO 3pm)
It would have been a long sweat for Rangers fans during the transfer window with the possibility of top scorer Alfredo Morelos leaving, however, the Columbian is staying put which is a huge boost for Manager Steven Gerrard.
Rangers have hardly been firing on all cylinders this since the winter break with a shocking 2-1 defeat away to Kilmarnock a lacklustre 3-1 win away to minnows Cowdenbeath in the Scottish cup.
Its back to Ibrox for the first time in 2019 after three consecutive away games and nothing but three points will be acceptable today against relegation threatened St Mirren.
Rangers have enjoyed their home matches against the leagues weaker teams, racking up some big wins (4-0 3-1 5-1 3-0 7-1 3-0 ) and given St Mirren have lost 3 or more goals in 6 matches away from home already this season I’m taking Rangers to win this comfortably.
Recommended Bet:
Dundee United v Greenock Morton (KO 3pm)
It was some transfer window for Robbie Neilson’s Dundee Untied side with no fewer than 11 signings being made.
I posted an article yesterday on there signings and why I feel they are worth a shout to win the league at a big price of 5/1 https://mrfixitstips.co.uk/greg-brownings-tips-back-dundee-united-for-title-glory
Today they welcome an inconsistent Morton side and its difficult to know just how many of the recent signings will be involved today but the transfer activity must have given everyone at the club a boost as they gear up to make a proper title assault.
United a bit skinny now having been backed into 4/7 from 8/11 but a market I like and have had good success with this season is match result and over 1.5 match goals – and outcome that has landed in 10 of their 12 wins this season
Recommended Bet:
- Dundee United to win and over 1.5 Match goals
- 19/20 (Ladbrokes)
