MONDAY means reserve / development games and goals and there is a great looking one from the Scottish Reserve league as Hibernian host basement boys Queen of the South at the Oriam Centre in Edinburgh.
As I’ve said a number of times now, the move to Reserves this season means clubs can play as many first team players as they like and it’s certainly been a disaster for the bookies who have been hit hard a good few times this season. You only have to look at some of the scores to see that with some clubs running out 6-0 7-0 winners. If I was a bookie I wouldn’t offer markets on these games.
Looking maintain my strong form in the Scottish games by making this my 14th winning NAP from the last 17 selections. This should just be a case of how many goals Hibs win by here.
Hibs Reserves vs QOS Reserves (KO 2pm)
This is really quite simple this one – Hibs are 5th in the Reserve league with 20 points, they have a bigger squad and a better squad than QOS which allows them to play a higher quality of player in their reserve matches
QOS are not enjoying life in the reserve league – they are bottom of the league with just 2 points from 10 games and on the road they have conceded 4 goals at Celtic and Dundee and 3 at St Johnstone and Hamilton.
It must be hard for them competing here against clubs from the Scottish Premiership who can play any number of 1st team players and with QOS not having the biggest of squad’s it easy to see why they are bottom.
Hibs have won their last 4 games, scoring 15 goals and its really just a case of how many they will win by today. Be interested to see Hibs starting 11 bit no reason to believe they won’t give QOS a doing here.
Surprised by the odds, don’t think over 3.5 goals will be 4/5 come Kick off – Hibs last 2 games at home (3-2 and 8-1 against much much stronger opposition than QOS)
Recommended Bets:
- Over 3.5 goals
- 4/5 (Skybet) (NAP) (NB)
