IT’s Scotland again for me tonight with 5 Scottish Premiership matches taking place with the Hearts vs Celtic fixture taking centre stage. It was a dramatic day yesterday with Brendon Rodgers walking out on Celtic to join Leicester City but the hoops didn’t waste any time though and appointed old boss Neil Lennon to the Celtic Park hotseat until at least the end of the season. His first game in charge, Hearts away, you couldn’t make it up. I fancied cards before todays news, it looks even stronger now.
Hearts vs Celtic (KO 7.45pm)
This probably wasn’t what SFA and police Scotland had planned for, Neil Lennon returning to Tyncastle as manager of Celtic, just a few months after managing arch rivals Hibs.
There is no love lost between Hearts and Celtic and their certainly isn’t any love lost between Hearts and Neil Lennon with a host of unsavoury and nasty incidents taking place here over the years.
Its really set up to be an explosive affair – Tyncastle has without doubt the best atmosphere in Scottish football and a night under the floodlights under these circumstances should see an electric atmosphere. Whether the players like it or not, that atmosphere will transfer to the pitch and Herts have plenty of candidates to receive a card
Step forward Steven Naismith – the ex Rangers players knows all about the rivalry with Celtic and has found himself in bother in previous tussles with Celtic, especially at home. He is one of those players opposition fans love to hate. As well as being a good players , he loves to moan and get in the referee and opponents face. A prime example of little man syndrome, he’s 11/4 to be booked (Already received 7 bookings this season)
Djoum is another good candidate for hearts and he too has 7 bookings to his name
This should be a cracking match – a full Tyncastle, under the flood lights, Neil Lennon back, it’s set up nicely
