A FULL Scottish card to look forward to this weekend and I see no reason to deviate away from the sides who have helped swell the coffers over the last few months.
Dundee United after their 9/5 midweek win away at Dunfermline host relegation-threatened QoS and again are priced up bigger than they should be. Falkirk have been another profitable team to back and although they face a stern test away ICT are more than capable of scoring in a match they really need to collect something from.
Dundee United vs QoS (3pm)
Robbie Neilson’s men collected another crucial three points midweek as they edged out Dunfermline 1-0 at East End Park. That was a huge win for United and it brings them to within striking distance of leaders Ross County, albeit, County have the advantage of having played two games less.
They’ve definitely cranked up the pressure and know nothing but another three points today against struggling QoS will do. The Dumfries side have collapsed, losing six on the spin scoring just twice which is a brutal run of form.
Given United have been in terrific form at home in 2019 (six wins and a draw), need to win this and will be full of confidence against a side n the brink of exiting the division. I can’t believe they are as big as 7-10, the bookies have this massively wrong (as they have done often over the last few months on the Scottish games).
United are 25 points better off and these two are heading in opposite directions – they should be no bigger than 4/7, possibly even 1/2. I’m stunned some bookies are offering 7/10, snap it up.
I initially planned to back Dundee United and over 1.5 match goals at 21-20 but with United being 7-10 it’s a straight home win for me as they continue to put the pressure on Ross County.

Inverness CT vs Falkirk (3pm)
The Caley Jags are in great shape at the moment having won four games on the spin and have a Scottish Cup semi-final to look forward to.
A victory today will all but seal their play-off place and but they’ll need to overcome a Falkirk side embroiled in a four-way battle to survive slipping into Scotland’s third tier. Would be unthinkable for a club of their size and resources to be playing League One football.
They have certainly improved through since Christmas and have been a good side to back especially on the goal time market as they are often priced big away from home due to their lowly position.
They’ve scored in 12 of their last 14 trips to the Highlands and have managed to find the net in each of their last nine away matches. Given how crucial this match is for them they look value to beat the goal time.
