AFTER an eventful and action packed UCL last night we turn our attentions to the Europa League where there are some tasty looking matches.
Picking winners from the games doesn’t look easy and my advice would be to side with goals. 1ts leg affairs are not as tight as you’d think in this competition and looking back over the last few seasons at the last 16 stage, your getting not far of 2.6 goals per match which goes to show how open first leg games have been.
I’ve picked out three games where we should see over 1.5 goals land quite easily
- Eintracht Frankfurt vs Inter Milan (KO 5.55pm)
- Rennes vs Arsenal (KO 5.55pm)
- Napoli vs FC Salzburg (8pm)
Nothing flash here, Frankfurt are flying at the moment. their last 22 home matches have all seen over 1.5 goals and with their strong home record in all competitions (scored 2 or more in their last 9 Europa league home matches) we should manage some goals here.
Rennes have seen 27 of their last 29 home matches see at least 2 goals and their European record of 15 of their last 17 at home seeing 2 or more goals bodes well with Arsenal making the short trip over the channel.
We all know how good Napoli are at home and with 18 of their last 20 at home in this competition seeing 2 or more goals we should see at least 2 goals tonight against a Salzburg side who have cruised through the tournament so far wining 8 of their 9 matched with 8 of those over 1.5 goals
Recommended Bet:
- Over 1.5 goals treble
- 11/10 (Bet365) (NAP)
- 8 matches total goals 23+
- 11/8 (Skybet)
