14 POINTS staked and 14.2 returned last week thanks to Double D, David Drysdale placing at 66/1. Well done Trev, fellow MrFixitsTips tipster and friend with the Mickelson shout.
I did manage to get him in play on Sunday at 5/1 knowing full well there’s no bigger choker in golf than the man himself Paul Casey.
My weekend was fuzzy but great; a night’s break in the Dales in an exotic caravan with all the trimmings was on point, even Mrs Slice got in the mood (wink, wink). It required the sampling of a 75% rum to make the pro-am format of the golf watchable – not for me.
The weekend culminated in a trip to a local cheese factory – a serious highlight! Fact of the week- did you know the blocks you buy in the supermarket take about 40 mins to make, great work.
Formerly known as the Northern Trust, the PGA stays in California and gives us the GENESIS OPEN.
Justin Thomas
The cheese purchased over the weekend nearly regurgitated as I saw the price of the machine JT; 14/1 about the Magic Man can’t be overlooked on a course which requires the complete package.
Patrick Cantlay
Similar to JT but not yet at the same level, Cantlay has the all-round game to go well here and last year’s 4th place finish shows he’s a course horse.
Keegan Bradley
The ‘Everyday I’m Shuffling’ man has had a quiet start to the year after I gave him the big one, but his price this week represents the chance to get back on.
Andrew Landry
The cleanest man on tour is hitting all the right notes recently, just needs to find his form on the greens and a place is definitely not beyond possibilities.
Good luck, love Slice xxx
