This might be the worst matchup FURIA could have hoped for, mainly because DRX always start tournaments strong. And even though DRX haven’t won much this season besides the two Korea Challengers events, they have done well in Masters events, finishing both inside the top six.
Unlike DRX, FURIA have not won a single event this season. Moreover, FURIA have played just four official matches since June, with wins against 9z (2-0), FUSION (2-0), and TBK Esports (2-0), and a 0-3 defeat against KRU Esports.
This is a game where you have to trust the favourites to deliver and claim a comfortable win. FURIA have yet to cause an upset this season, and it’s unlikely that will change on Friday. We’ll put our money on DRX to win with at least six rounds to spare.
DRX -5.5 rounds

The NA vs EMEA clash between Fnatic and 100 Thieves promises to be an exciting one, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a close affair. Fnatic are one of the top Valorant teams in the world with the needed experience and tools to compete for big trophies – two traits 100 Thieves lack.
Although they failed to impress in April when Fnatic finished Masters Reyjkavik in 11th-12th place, the Black & Orange found their stride in June, when they won EMEA Stage 2 Challengers and later placed fourth in Masters Copenhagen.
100 Thieves have not achieved anything even remotely as impressive this season, while their best tournament result happened just a couple of weeks ago when they won the North American Last Chance Qualifier. As remarkable as that may seem, it really isn’t since the event hadn’t featured any of the top NA Valorant esports teams.
Fnatic shouldn’t be losing games like that, and we don’t expect them to. We might even see a 2-0 sweep on Friday, and at $2.62, this is a bet we’ll gladly take.
