View our expert’s Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Friday which features a both teams to score tip, an over 2.5 goals selection and two sides to score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Utrecht vs NEC – Both Teams to Score
Utrecht will look to climb back into the top-six of the Eredivisie, as they host mid-table NEC at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
Neither side come into this in great form, with Utrecht’s stoppage time defeat at Feyenoord last time out extended their winless run to six, whilst Roger Meijer’s visitors have won just one of their last eight, losing to both Ajax and Twente in their last two.
After an opening day 5-0 trashing away to reigning champions Ajax, the visitors have found the back of the net in their next 14 away fixtures and will fancy their chances of making the net bulge against an Utrecht side with just one clean sheet in their last 14.
PSV and Ajax are two of only three sides to stop Utrecht from scoring at home this season, therefore, I like the look of both sides to get on the scoresheet here.
Union Berlin to Score 2+
Union Berlin will look to keep their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League alive, as they host already relegated Greuther Fürth at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
After losing 2-1 away to RB Leipzig late on in the DFB Pokal semi-final, Urs Fischer’s side gained some revenge by scoring two quick-fire goals late on to win 1-2 at Red Bull Arena to record their fourth successive win in the Bundesliga.
Despite taking an early lead, Greuther Fürth’s inevitable relegation was confirmed last time out, as they were thumped 1-4 by third-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
Stefan Leitl’s side are still yet to win on their travels in the Bundesliga, conceding 46 goals and the in-form hosts should be too strong here and gain a crucial three points, scoring at least twice in the process.
Dunfermline Athletic to Score 2+
Dunfermline know they must collect all three points if they are to have a chance of avoiding finishing in the relegation playoff spot, as they host already-relegated Queen of the South at East End Park.
Dunfermline lost 1-0 away to Partick Thistle last time out but John Hughes’s side are currently unbeaten in their last seven at home, winning each of their last three.
Queen of the South’s relegation was confirmed last time out, as they conceded a late equaliser at home to relegation-rivals Ayr United.
The Doonhamers have lost each of their last four away and given they’ve let in 34 goals in their 17 away fixtures, I like the look of The Pars to score a brace for the fourth consecutive match at home.
Genk vs Mechelen – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides tied in second and third place of the Belgian Conference League playoff group meet at the Luminus Arena, as Genk host Mechelen.
Genk won for the third consecutive match last time out, as they defeated Gent away from home, whilst Mechelen defeated Charleroi, meaning they’ve now lost just two of their last 12.
Bernd Storck’s hosts have found the back of the net in 15/17 of their matches at home this season, scoring 39 goals (2nd highest) and will be confident of adding to that tally against a Mechelen side that’s recorded just six clean sheets in 35 matches.
Wouter Vrancken’s visitors have scored in 28/35 of their fixtures this season, including in 11 of their last 12 and there’s every chance they’ll contribute in a match that should see at least three goals.
