London Royal Ravens enter the final week of CDL Major 3 Qualifier with just one win to their name (1-2), which they secured on Monday against Los Angeles Guerrillas (3-2). It marked London Royal Ravens’ only second victory since the first week of CDL Major 1 Qualifier when they beat the Guerrillas (3-2), translating to an abysmal 2-12 record.
London Royal Ravens have more work to do before contesting top spots, but we could’ve said the same about Seattle Surge not too long ago. The Surge have struggled since the first Major of the 2023 season, yet they’ve found some traction this stage, beating Minnesota RØKKR (3-0) and Florida Mutineers (3-1).
A month ago, this would look like a 50/50 affair, but with the improvement Seattle Surge have shown, we do not doubt they can take down London Royal Ravens without much hassle.

Las Vegas Legion are 1-2, which isn’t terrible considering that their only two losses came against Toronto Ultra (1-3) and Atlanta FaZe (1-3). Meanwhile, Minnesota RØKKR are 0-3 with defeats against New York Subliners (2-3), Seattle Surge (0-3), and OpTic Texas (0-3).
RØKKR continuing their dry streak (0-5) is concerning and a bit confusing. They placed third in CDL Major 2 but have since been struggling to show the same level of play; granted, it’s no secret that RØKKR tend to perform worse online.
But no matter how weak RØKKR might look ahead of this affair, they’re still stronger than Las Vegas Legion, who’s yet to show anything remarkable this season. So at the offered CDL betting odds, we will gladly side with Minnesota RØKKR to defeat the Legion.

Florida Mutineers beat Boston Breach (3-1) last week but then lost against Seattle Surge (1-3). The most notable thing from those games was that the Mutineers’ Search & Destroy worsened, and they’ve not looked too good on respawns either, so it’s difficult to give them a good ranking.
Los Angeles Guerrillas enter this match on a giant slide, having lost seven of their last eight series. We don’t know what to make of this, but with the layoffs inside the organisation (The Guard), something might be happening behind the scenes that can’t help the morale.
Based on what we saw from the Guerrillas and Florida Mutineers recently, this looks like a coin-flip match, but if we had to pick a side, we would trust Los Angeles Guerrillas. They’re in terrible form, but talent-wise they’re above the Mutineers, making them a solid pick at evens with Betway.
