JURGEN KLOPP claimed on Monday he could finish the season with 11 players as matches continue at a pace this midweek.
After a triple header of internationals we now have the return of European football so there’s absolutely no rest for the top stars.
Klopp’s raging at the schedule and Liverpool have played every midweek since September 20 apart from when internationals are on and most of their men are involved anyway.
He’s not the only manager feeling things have to change but as long as TV needs their games it won’t.
Liverpool are in action on Wednesday then face Brighton on Saturday at 12.30pm and Klopp says his players “will be shaking” for that one.
First up in the Champions League on Tuesday are Chelsea who travel to Rennes in good form while the other 5.55pm game sees Sevilla travel to Krasnodar.
Later Man United who face a revenge mission against Istanbul Basakhesir. United were on a good run when they went to Turkey and lost and things haven’t really improved since then.
As I’ve said before you don’t know what to expect from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men. This is a team that won away to PSG and hammered Leipzig 5-0 at home but once again looked ordinary against West Brom on Saturday.
The Baggies could have scored several and were unlucky to lose. For me best bet at Old Trafford is over 2.5 goals – either United will win well or they’ll concede easily.
Elsewhere in the Champions League games include Borussia Dortmund and on-fire Erling Haaland at home to Brugge, Barcelona away to Dinamo Kiev and a short-priced Juventus at home to Ferencvaros.

There’s also a big domestic card and I’ve posted my thoughts on the three Scottish games and picked out a treble. We have Hibs vs St Johnstone, Hearts vs Alloa and Dumbarton vs Falkirk.
I’ll check form and stats on the English games in the RFO in the morning in search of a goals bet – picking WDW in midweek English lower-league games can easily go wrong.
Matches include Stoke vs Norwich and Bournemouth vs Nottm Forest in the Championship and Ipswich vs Hull and Peterborough vs Plymouth in League One.
Well done to all the winners on Monday on a quiet card. My double went down with Crystal Palace losing at Burnley but I wouldn’t have put them up even draw no bet if I’d known the virus had ruled out Wilfried Zaha. That news was confirmed late and it again shows sometimes it worth waiting for line-ups before having a bet even if you miss a price.
