IT’S the final round of the Nations League where eventually two teams who reach the plays will qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
France have won A3 ahead of their trip to Sweden who are fighting it out with Croatia to avoid relegation. The Croats are at home to a Portugal side who can’t top the table because of their h2h record with the French.
Spain vs Germany is a decider in A4 with the Germans just needing a point while Switzerland need to beat Ukraine by at least two or win and score 3+ to avoid relegation at the expense of their visitors.
- SlipsTips has posted predictions and a match preview for Spain vs Germany and includes a 3-1 super single.
Montenegro should win C1 by beating Cyprus at home. If they slip there is a chance for Luxembourg to pip them by taking care of Azerbaijan at home.
And finally the Faroes need a point at home to Malta to win D1 while in the battle of the minnows Gibraltar will win D2 if they take a point at home to a Liechtenstein side they beat 1-0 on the road.
So that’s how it stands in Tuesday’s games and I’ll pick out some bets after checking team news in the morning.
Elsewhere there are four South American qualifiers including Uruguay vs Brazil for the night owls as it kicks off at 11pm.
There are some crucial Under-21 qualifiers and I’m backing Scotland to beat Greece away and book their place in the finals and follow in the big team’s footsteps.
In English League One we have Oxford vs Crewe and Swindon vs Accrington and there’s one League Two match as Port Vale face Scunthorpe.
And we have nine National League games to look so hopefully HullShaker and the likes will give us a steer.
Monday was a no-bet day for me but well done to anyone who found a winner on a quiet card.
I’ll post Tuesday tips around lunchtime.
