TECHNICALLY it’s the first day of the English season although we’re two weeks away from the Premier League kick-off.
Liverpool meet Arsenal in the traditional Community Shield curtain-raiser at Wembley and there are four EFL Cup ties. Kevin Mac has posted a Liverpool vs Arsenal match preview and predictions.
In the Scottish Premiership there are four matches including Hamilton vs Rangers live at 5.30pm.
