LEICESTER need to get their season back on track against Aston Villa on Monday night or risk their Champions League.
The Foxes looked nailed on to finish top three a couple of weeks ago but are just two points clear of Chelsea and five in front of fifth-placed Man United. Of course fifth spot could qualify depending on Man City’s appeal against their ban.
Brendan Rodgers’ men have missed top scorer Jamie Vardy and Wilfred Ndidi but both are expected to start tonight and that could make the difference against second-bottom Villa who will climb to 16th with a victory.
Villa drew 1-1 at the King Power to book their Carabao Cup Final place and Leicester will be desperate for revenge. They are around 1-2 to get it.
Elsewhere Sassuolo face Brescia in Serie A and there are some second-tier games around Europe so could be a no-bet day ahead of a busy week and of course Cheltenham.
On Sunday Everton and Man City beat my both to score treble – like maccathered I should have stuck to my plan of backing Man United. Well done to him for keeping the faith and to all the other winners.
With Bayern Munich -2AH void, my Top Treble became an even-money double thanks to Lille and Rennes so it was a 2pts profit on the day.
