IT was another eventful day in the Bundesliga and a non-event of a day in Belarus.
I paid one last visit to the east European country since it was cup final day with BATE facing Dinamo Brest.
It was one of the worst games I’ve watched – and I’ve go to admit I switched off for most of it.
By the time I tuned back in for what looked like an inevitable penalty shootout BATE netted in the final minute of extra time for a 1-0 win.
The action in the Bundesliga was much better with RB Leipzig and Augsburg notching big away wins and Cologne netting two late goals to force a 2-2 draw with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Tim Werner bagged a hat-trick for Leipzig on the day it was reported Jurgen Klopp has had virtual talks with the striker about a £55million to Anfield.
That would be some signing and I maccathered will be delighted at that.
More good news came from Spain with La Liga president Javier Tebas saying hopes a derby between Real Betis and Sevilla will retstart the top flight on the night of June 11.
Well done to all the winners on Sunday including SlipsTips and HullShaker.
Nothing much on Monday to bet on but we have a midweek Bundesliga card to savour including Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
Watch out for match previews being posted for all of Tuesday and Wednesday’s matches.
