WE’VE had some thrilling Europa League ties in recent weeks and I’m hoping Friday’s final between Inter Milan and Sevilla is another cracker.
I fancied Sevilla after they defeated Man United in the semis but Inter then put on a masterclass to stun Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 amd have assumed the favourites’ tag.
Inter look the part but Sevilla are tournament specialists with five wins and can’t be ruled out.

Elsewhere there are a few games to look at including the opening French Ligue 1 match between Bordeaux and Nantes. This a match between sides who finished 12th and 13th last season and has the look of a low-score bore.
Well done to all the winners on Thursday. My Super Single was St Johnstone but they were disappointing as they crashed to Aberdeen.
The Dons had huge selection problems and will be delighted to get off the mark with their first points of the season.
