THERE’S just no stopping this coronavirus – the Mynamar League and Irish racing being its latest victims.
Well done to Alan Thomson for his 20-1 treble on Tuesday while the Mynamar games flagged up by myself and Greg were called off after the country’s first coronavirus cases were revealed.
It’s a shame because I planned to head down the road to Mandalay on Wednesday with Yadanarborn in action but that’s been halted by the beaks. Instead I’ll head to Tesco and pick up some of Rudyard Kipling’s cakes.
That leaves us with friendlies and the esports tournament – there were plenty of goals in both on Tuesday but I’m not yet ready to go down that road.
Instead I’ll again be studying the pools matches – this weekend it’s a bit tougher because it should have been the international break with Scotland due to face Israel in their 2020 play-off on Thursday.
Instead I’ll be trying to guess how the Pools Panel will judge games such as Southend vs Sunderland, Oxford vs Portsmouth and Edinburgh vs Cove Rangers.
Last week I picked four draws and hoping to go one better with picks I’ll post on Friday. Online entry deadline is 2.55pm on Saturday.
