It’s the calm before the storm on an unusually quiet Saturday on the football front.
The topsy-turvy fixture lists across Europe has left us with a near-empty card in the UK on a Saturday. The only competitive matches feature a series of play-offs in the National League.
If that’s not your thing then you could look at some of the friendlies featuring Scottish teams who are warming up ahead of the season kick-off next week. Ross County, Livingston and Rangers are all in action.
Failing that you’ll need to be creative by scouring Europe for some value. There’s a trio of games in Serie A as well as matches in Portugal, Croatia, Turkey and Poland and a raft of games across Scandanavia.
Our team is already looking ahead to Sunday’s Premier League finale in which there’s still plenty at stake. We’ve got eight matches already previewed;
- Arsenal v Watford Preview & Predictions
- Burnley v Brighton Preview & Predictions
- Everton v Bournemouth Preview & Predictions
- Crystal Palace v Spurs Preview & Predictions
- West Ham v Aston Villa Preview & Predictions
- Chelsea v Wolves Preview & Predictions
