ATTENTION turns to the Nations League on Sunday with 20 games scheduled.
Matches include Scotland vs Slovakia, England vs Belgium, Ireland vs Wales and France vs Portugal.
There are loads of internationals to look at and I like the look of both to score in the England and France matches.
Gareth Southgate will make many changes from the side that beat Wales 3-0 with Harry Kane expected to start while Jadon Sancho and Tammy Abrahams are available after being ordered to sit it out last week.
Belgium will field their strongest available team and Roberto Martinez’s men have netted in their last 19 away games.
Scotland lost three players to pandemic issues against Israel and Sloavkia will be without Jaroslav Mihalik and Milan Skriniar for similar issues.
In the same group the Czech Rep again have problems for their tie in Israel. The Czechs, who faced Scotland with a second-string side last month, travelled with just nine players after three positive tests and have sent for reinforcements.
Israel played well before losing to Scotland on penalties and could be the shout at 2-1 with BetVictor if the Czech are as weakened as is being suggested.
Kevin Mac features the home nations on his preview that includes predictions so check them out.
France thumped Ukraine 7-1 last week and Didier Deschamps will add the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann to his frightening firepower.
Portugal fought out a 0-0 draw with Spain and will add Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva, Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes. Cristiano Ronaldo will start and there could be a place for Liverpool new boy Diogo Jota.
Backing goals in France and other games that look promising for btts include Croatia vs Sweden and Poland vs Italy.
Wasn’t a great day for betting on Saturday but well done to all the winners including Scott Allot with his Nap for members only and Desmond with his both to score double.
My both to score treble was beaten by Brora not scoring and Annan’s draw with Stranraer and I needed a Burton goal for my English double.
I’ll look at other games before deciding whether to add to my both to score double.
Both to Score Double
- England vs Belgium (5pm)
- France vs Portugal (7.45pm)
- (5-2, William Hill)
