Udinese stunned champions-elect on Thursday and prevented Juventus from wrapping up their ninth consecutive title.
An injury-time winner sealed a 2-1 win for Luca Gotti’s side but it’s likely they’ve just delayed the inevitable rather than blowing the title race wide open.
That makes it just one win in five for Juve but they still have ample opportunities to wrap up the Serie A title; they play Sampdoria at home on Sunday evening but could be crowned champions if their rivals lose their weekend matches.
Friday looks another quiet day on the football front. AC Milan host Atalanta in Serie A with the hosts in good form. There should be plenty of goals in that one. Atalanta can put a little bit of pressure on Juventus with a win but anything less more or less kill of their already slim chances.
