Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Turkish Süper Lig, and one fixture in particular stands out to me for goals.

Beşiktaş will look to climb into the top three in the Turkish Süper Lig table as they travel to the Atatürk Olympic Stadium to take on the division’s entertainers, Fatih Karagümrük.
Fatih Karagümrük stretched their unbeaten run to five matches in the Turkish top-flight as they drew 2-2 away at Alanyaspor. Only the top two in the division, Galatasaray (42) and Fenerbahçe (51) have outscored Andrea Pirlo’s men this season, with the hosts scoring 40 goals across their opening 19 league fixtures this season. However, the Kara Kırmızı has registered just three clean sheets this season and possesses the joint-second worst defence in the division, conceding 39 goals.
Beşiktaş secured their fifth consecutive league victory last Friday, as they defeated away-day strugglers Alanyaspor 3-0 at home. Şenol Güneş’s visitors are the fifth-highest scorers in the Turkish Süper Lig, scoring 37 goals across their opening 19 league outings. However, The Black Eagles have kept just two clean sheets across their nine league matches on their travels this season, conceding on multiple occasions in five of those.

Fatih Karagümrük have found the back of the net in 12 of their previous 13 league fixtures – scoring on multiple occasions in 10 of those – and given Şenol Güneş’s visitors have failed to score in just two of their opening 19 Süper Lig matches, there’s a good chance we’ll see the pair of these sides get on the scoresheet once more here.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in a league-high 15/19 (79%) of Fatih Karagümrük’s Turkish Süper Lig fixtures this season – with over 3.5 goals landing in 12 (63%) of those – and given the goal-scoring form both of these sides head into this fixture in, I reckon we’ll see at least three strikes with both teams contributing in what should be an entertaining encounter.
