Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me head to Scandinavia and there’s one fixture in the Swedish second-tier that looks good for goals.

Two sides positioned mid-table in the Swedish Superettan meet at Landskrona IP, as 10th-placed Landskrona play host to seventh-placed Skövde.
Landskrona winless run was extended to three matches last time out, as they lost 2-1 at table-toppers Halmstad. Billy Magnusson’s drew 1-1 against Östersunds in their last home fixture, extending their unbeaten run in front of their own supporters to six matches. Landskrona have found the back of the net in 10 of their last 11 league fixtures, as well as in all seven of their matches as hosts. The Striped Ones have registered just two clean sheets so far this season and are yet to keep one at home.
Skövde’s winless run was also extended to three matches last time out, as they drew 1-1 at home to Brommapojkarna. Tobias Linderoth’s side lost 2-1 against third-placed Trelleborg in their last away outing, but they do posses the fourth-best away record in the Swedish second-tier, collecting 14 points from a possible 24. Skövde have found the back of the net in 14/16 of their league fixtures this season, including all eight when on the road. As well as conceding in each of their last seven league fixtures, SAIK have conceded in 7/8 of their away fixtures, conceding on multiple occasions in five of them.
Bet of the Day
Landskrona come into unbeaten in each of their last six at home but face a tough test against a Skövde side with the fourth-best away record in the division. Billy Magnusson’s hosts have found the back of the net in 10 of their last 11 league fixtures, as well as in all seven matches as hosts and they’ll be confident of netting against a Skövde defence that’s registered just one clean away from home all season. Tobias Linderoth’s visitors have found the back of the net in all eight of their matches on their travels, scoring 14 times and they too will be confident of breaching a Landskrona defence that’s yet to record a clean sheet this season. Given 5/7 of Landskrona’s home fixtures and 6/8 of Skövde’s away matches have seen at least three strikes, I’m happy to back over 2.5 goals here with both sides contributing.
