Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the goal-laden Scottish League Two, and there’s one fixture in particular that stands out to me for goals.

Two clubs separated by only two points and two places in the Scottish League Two table go head-to-head at Bayview Stadium on Saturday afternoon as fourth-placed East Fife host sixth-placed Stenhousemuir.
East Fife put an end to their six-match winless run last weekend, as they recorded an impressive 1-2 win at third-placed Elgin to go within three points of Gavin Price’s men. Greig McDonald hosts have found the back of the net in 15/19 of their league fixtures this season, scoring 28 goals. However, The Fifers have registered just three clean sheets in the league this season, with just one of those coming in their last 15 matches.
Stenhousemuir finally put an end to their nine-match winless streak, as they won 2-1 at home to Stranraer in what was Gary Naysmith’s first game in charge. Stenny have failed to score in just one of their opening 19 league outings this season and are the division’s third-highest scorers with 32 goals. However, The Warriors have failed to keep a clean sheet since the opening day of the season, and possess the league’s leakiest defence, shipping 37 goals.

East Fife and Stenhousemuir have found the back of the net in 33/38 (87%) of their combined League Two fixtures this season, and given the pair have recorded just four shutouts between them, it’s highly likely we’ll see both of these teams get on the scoresheet once more.
Collectively, Over 2.5 goals has landed in 31/38 (82%) of the pair’s League Two fixtures this season, and given both side’s records at either end of the pitch, there’s a good chance we’ll see at least three strikes with both teams contributing.
