Fridays Football Bet of the Day sees me look at Norway and Iceland for two games that both look good for goals.
Lillestrøm vs Rosenborg

Rosenborg travel to the Åråsen Stadion on Friday evening to take on Lillestrøm. The hosts currently sit in 9th position whereas Rosenborg currently sit in fourth.
Lillestrøm come into this in fairly good form winning their last 2 games. That’s now 3 wins out of 6 since promotion which is a decent start. Lillestrøm have scored in 5 of those games including all 3 at home. They have conceded in 5 of those games though, conceding 9 goals.
Rosenborg come into this suffering back to back defeats to Sarpsborg & Strømsgodset. Rosenborg have struggled defensively all season and have kept a solitary clean sheet in their 9 games conceding 14 goals. They do, however, know where the back of the net is. Sunday’s defeat was the first time Rosenborg had failed to scored all season. They’ve scored 20 goals in their other 8 games with only the top two out scoring them (21 & 23).
Kórdengir vs Grindavik

Kórdengir host Grindavik in the Icelandic second tier on Friday evening. Both sides have made fairly good starts as the hosts sit in 3rd spot while the visitors sit one place above in 2nd.
Kórdengir have been on a good run of form as they are currently unbeaten in their last 5 games winning 4. Kórdengir have been consistent at finding the back of the net this season as they’ve scored in all 7 games scoring 12 goals. Defensively though they have struggled to keep clean sheets as they’ve conceded in 6 of their games conceding 9 goals.
Grindavik have also been on a good run of form as they come into this fixture winning their last 4 on the bounce scoring 10 times. Overall they’ve scored 14 goals and have only failed to score in 1 of their 7 games. Grindavik have also struggled defensively and have only kept a solitary clean sheet this season conceding 12 times.
Bet of the Day
Both Lillestrøm and Rosenborg have been amongst the goals this season but struggle to keep clean sheets. I can see this trend continuing and both should score. Similar story in Iceland between two sides who’s score and concede plenty, both should also score here.
